The science of Putting known as " the game within the game " can be learnt in Putting clinics throughout the season. Ask in the Proshop for details of Spring/Summer Courses. Learn to putt using your instincts. Improve your putting in 90 minutes with fantastic results guaranteed at all levels. You will learn the Four Skills to becoming a great putter. The first skill is to learn to read the putt correctly. Secondly the position ot he body and putter aiming at the intended target. After this is mastered you will move on to starting the ball rolling where the putter and body are aimed. The art of good putting is to stop the ball where intended so the fourth skill is distance control. Master these skills and you will experience unbelievable improvements in performance.
A typical game over 18 holes consists of
- 43% putting
- 22% wedges
- 21% driver
- 14% irons
Ask yourself the following -
Why is traditional golf instruction 95% full swing on the Driving Range ?
Why do you spend 95% of your training on the driving range ?
Is your practice time percentages similar to above if you had 100 minutes ?
Can you consistantly aim the putter ?
Can you roll the ball where you are aiming ?
Can you roll and stop the ball where you intend on a regular basis ?
